a WoodCraft store opened at my local shopping center the other day.

paduak, bubinga, cherry, walnut planks etc etc..spokeshaves..looks like gold plated hand planers etc etc....droooool....all a bit pricey but since i introduced myself to woodwork via kayaks only a few months ago this place just had me fawning all over everything they have...even had system3 epoxy in there..measuring cups...i did'nt see any kayak building books on the rack though..surely they should have Nick's book in there.

and they have gift cards...cool store.
