I'm back...sorry folks...my son had caught the chickenpox and I had a bad cold..I've been seeing it all throughout the course of this project!..and yesturday the nice lady who lives nextdoor came-a-calling and asked me to stop using my woodburning shop oven.--she was being smoked out...like a salmon in a smokebox...well okay..but I'll finish this project even if I get thrown in jail..or deported.
Here's what I've been working on.
I have the outer sheer band on, the recessed deck cleats, that are made out of mahogany and brass, and the coaming is being finished in a nice jacaranda veneer, that matches great to the WRC grain.. There are handcarved mahogany peek-caps now in place , and I am working on a recess at the foredeck for a Silva compass. Almost finished..its end-sport folks!...Robert, thanks for thinking of me!
