Thanks, Tony. I'm still laying up strips on my first boat, but I'm
trying to look forward to issues that will come up shortly. I've
wondered if seal-coating with something lighter, like shellac, would
be worth bothering with.

BTW, I just got the skis out and waxed. Water is great fun, even when
it's frozen in tiny little flakes!
