Yes...you did indeed make massive repairs. My experience with repairs and/or simply not having enough free time to work on the boat day after day has indicated to me that the mechanical bond is plenty strong enough. And I do ramp logs, rocks, run rapids, portage dams, etc. with my boats. Many people would do well to look at how badly your boat was damaged...and how well it came out. Very nice job.
