The under deck tube box is sanded. Making the tube to this point has taken me about 8 hours total time over three days, so it could probably be done in a day. I cut most of the strips with a 5 degree edge on the table saw and the half width strips on the on the corners of the tube I cut 10 degrees edges which worked out well, so I had no planning at all to do. I will start fiber glassing today and this will take some time to go through all of the steps especially since I have the slow setting epoxy. The tube end will be fiberglass separately on both sides and the inside of the tube will be glassed separately also. Then later the tube will be epoxied to the bottom. This makes the inside glassing to the tube easy and simple. Later the outside of the tube will be glassed, extending over the bottom edge to help hold the bottom solidly to the tube. Hope it all works out.
