Hi Jeff,
Are you sure it's the glue you're allergic to and not the cedar? Wood allergies are fairly common. If you do need to switch glue I would recommend trying Liquid Hide Glue. In addition to being a completely different formula, therefore less likely to still cause your allergy problems, it has a nice long open time. It's also made by Titebond and any woodworking supply place would have it. Like Titebond it isn't water resistant, but we rely on the epoxy and glass to hold things together anyway.
