In Response To: Strip: Titebond III (Jeff H)
: Has anybody tried Titebond III for strip construction.
I've been missing lately while working on some other shop projects.
I gave TBIII a try on the workbench that I just finished. It's supposed to have greater open time, but I didn't notice much difference in the time to skin over. It is slower to cure. I'm not going to use it again, primarily because it is quite a bit thicker and more work to refill the 8 oz. bottle that I use for applying. Also, it's got some storage limitations in warm temperatures which could create a challenge for me in the summer. All in all, I'm not likely to continue using it.
