Anyone who wants to build a compartment can build either a S&G or stripper peanut butter container. Might as well have a storage compartment that matches the boat. Hee! Hee! One storage compartment idea Donnie at Waters Dancing uses in his canoes is to add a bulkhead within 12 inches of the stern and bow of his boats, close it off then use a plastic screw-on lid for e-z access. That way a full sized SLR camera can be stored safely.
