In teh picture you see the compartment before I had the lid
: made up. The lid screws on using wingnuts, which twirl onto bolts set into
: a framework glued onto the outside of the compartment. It works well as
: long as I can keep moisture out of the compartment. I generally leave the
: lid off unless the weather is nasty or I know I'll be paddling through
: rough water.

Robert if you get a picture of you compartment lid, I would like to see it.
