Well...that's more interesting news (and I like it...though some other may prefer keeping where you are). Probably still a couple hundred miles apart, but I get around a big part of the state paddling here and there and in marathons. I also have tentative plans to hold a Texas Kayak Builder's Bash down in the Houston area this next year (2005) sometime in July if there is any interest. This will be a full weekend campout, fishing, paddle experience, with a few hours set aside on saturday to gather the boats so everybody can get a look. We'll certainly get together. A 200 mile trip is nothing down here....either on the highway, or on the water. Check out the Texas Water Safari.
