Living in West Michigan I have found two sources for clear WRC
Johnson's Workbench in Charlotte, MI sells rough sawn in all kinds of widths and up to 20' lenghts and can order what ever you might want. They are on the web call them before you make the trip. Last time I checked it was about $7.00 a board ft. They will also rip your strips for you.
Meekhof in Grand Rapids sells clear WRC and Redwood at reasonable prices but it's S4S and kiln dried so just a bit less than 3/4 inch thick but reasonably priced. I believe they also have a web site.

: The Western Red Cedar Lumber Association has links to members, including a
: Fingerle Lumberyard in Ann Arbor. Their web site is:

: For more lumberyards in Michigan ( and OHio, and other states as well) which
: are members of the WRCLA, and should therefore have a good supply of red
: cedar in stock, look at the WRCLA web page:

: I suspect that some of these companies may be wholesalers who might not want
: to deal with supplying just a board or two, but if that is the case, then
: ask them for a lumberyard near your location which they deal with. Then
: jsut trot over there and place an order.

: Hope this helps.
