I prefer paper, rolled not folded. All drawings I have got, from LaughingLoon, from Hans Friedel, from Björn Thomasson, from OneOcean has been printed on first class paper. I dont think that shrinking is of that size that it would be noticeable.
Glue them, cut with some margins, with wetroom-wallpaperglue onto 10 or 12 mm plywood. I´m letting the plywood live in my shop for at least a week before.
After glueing I rough-cut with the jigsaw and do the fine cut in the bandsaw.
I have done this now for about 20 kayaks and I havn´t had any complaints yet from myself or from anybody else. These stations will last for at least 4 kayaks. But you mustn´t forget to pay royalty for each one of them.
For me it´s kind of a natural way to start a kayakproject cutting the stations.

Cardboard and cheap, thin plywood will warp and behave far more bad than high quality printing paper, especially in humid conditions.

Precut stations in 10 or 12 mm plywood will be so expensive to ship that you will probably call off the project. And if they warp they will be unable to correct.

I have been involved in a S´n´G-kayak designed by Hans Friedel. He delivered CNC-precut panels with zero-tolerance. We almost had to shrink-fit the jigsaw-puzzle joints. It was kind of a spooky precision at every joint!
