We are now 3 strip builders living very close to each other in the Flanders area in Belgium:

_ Jos Vemeiren recently launched his self-designed S&G seakayak and will start work on his first stripper (a custom design by Nick Schade) soon. See http://users.pandora.be/kano-kayak/Jos.htm

_ Johan Toorman is working on an Expedition Single. The marriage of deck and hull was due yesterday. See http://users.telenet.be/kano-kayak/Johan.htm

_ I am finishing a Winisk Canoe, the seats and thwarts still have to be done. I will varnish the hull this week. See http://users.pandora.be/kano-kayak/Winisk-1.htm

End of January, we will present the new boats to the other members of the kayak club, complete with a celebration.

Also in January, I will organize a workshop for 5 other members of the kayak club, who are interested in a GP, and each person will build his own GP.

And this is only the beginning, we have one other club member who will start building an Outer Island next year !
