Other uses for CA:

~ I used thick CA to butt join the panels on the Osprey Standard I built this past summer. Worked great, no humps, just reinforced the inside after completion. How about all panels joined and stitched in 3 hours?

~ Thin CA and baking soda creates an ivory-hard glop very useful for re-building string slots on guitar nuts that have been worn down too far or cut too deep. Just press in some baking soda and add a drop of CA. Then re-file the string slot.

~ Thin CA is a "super" cut closer used by musicians who have to gig with no bandages. Used it once to glue back a callous on one of my left hand fingers for a gig that evening. It lasted 4 hours! (Guitar player here) That's right, got a cut? Just super-glue it back together. CA is the active ingredient in NewSkin.

~ Thin CA is a great way to repair dings in clear lacquer or urethane finishes. It also wicks into finishes that have started to lift from wood, creating a milky look. The thin CA will wick in, eliminating the milky look.

~ Use thin CA to seal the gypsum in drywall holes around plumbing that occasionally sweats, ruining the drywall.

~ Laminate floors near moisture? Wick thin CA into the exposed edges to waterproof them.

Yep, the liquid version of duct tape.
