This picture is a perfect example of the white stress pocks.

: kayaks car-topped all day in the blazing Texas sun, in my garage for weeks
: in temperatures that exceeds 100f at times, and have never experienced the
: white dots (or failing epoxy bonds anywhere, for that matter) on any kayak
: EXCEPT for the front of one mahogany coaming rim.
Stress is the factor that causes this. No stress, even if the expoxy gets hot and no
white stress pocks.
