Definitely the symptom of a cheap router-the horrible screech noise (and your repeated experience with
router burnout.) If you were in the US I'd guess Sears-Robuck sold your routers. You'd save money if you bought a good router once and strangled cats for the annoying racket.
Also to paraphrase Humphrey Bogart* "The cheaper the router, the higher the horsepower rating" Don't believe a $39 3-horse router. Under load it won't be half as powerful as a Porter-Cable 3/4 horse. That's a proven fact.
