: Why not just build the hybrid strip deck the way the designers recommend?

Whats wrong with experimentation?

The Cormorant (which is what I will probably do next) hull is downloaded from the squeedunk site. As far as the deck goes I can do what ever I like.
My Cirrus [plans are not hyrbrid plans although I could modify the deck forms but as I mentioned, why not experiment to individualise a product.
