I use the polished finish. Besides being easy to clean and low profile, they also have a bit of a spring action in the toggle.
To make even more secure:
In the screw down plate below I sometimes use a dome head screw, and drill a small intentation below the toggle, to ride onto the screw head, when the toggle is in closed position. I will try to find a close-up pic somewhere in my files to illustrate.That will have to be in a future posting,once I find a picture somewhere in my files.So stand by for a minute....Jurgen
