Hi all,
I just layed up the lip for the spray skirt. I put down one layer of 6oz. carbon fiber, then 6 layers of 6oz. glass, then another layer of the carbon. The result is a lip that is 3/16 inches (.476 cm) thick and weighs 11 oz. total. My question for you all is, is this thick enough? it seems rigid enough and will gain a bit with fill coats.
