I guess it's easy for me to be a skeptic when it's very unlikely I will really ever subject my boat to many rocks. Surf yes, rocks no. I have a small bag of graphite that came with my kit that I could use to do the testing I'm talking about. I could see making up some test panels with various combinations of plain epoxy, cabosil, and graphite just to see for myself and form an opinion one way or the other. Then again it's so easy to be skeptical! :)
