If you start with pre-glassing the interior of the hull panels with 4oz glass before stitching up you can control a lot of the wasted epoxy that can come with first time efforts in glassing interior spaces, especially with 6oz cloth. Using 1 1/2" tape on the interior with the 4oz and 6oz cloth on the exterior should be sufficient for 5mm ply,,maybe an extra patch of 4oz for heels.
