And after a little planing and cutting... I ended up with this... there's about 5 different colors of wood there and will make two VERY nice decks. I picked up some scrap Mahogany from my Dad's garage before we tore it down... two colors of that too.

The Rot and decay only goes a little ways into the wood... and there's still some Beautiful stuff down inside..

The redwood fence boards have thousands of nail holes and all surrounded with black stain... that will make some interesting design work..

My point is.. You don't need to look for perfect wood.. it's probably sitting right under your nose.. Just get started...!!!
