I'v had some Doctors give me... mis info. More than once.

No Doctor, however gifted, can actually know what your body is capable of.
The body is unlike any other machine & is capable of absolutly unamanagable stuff. It addapts to new things, & challanges. It repairs itself in ways that you would never think of.
Doctors are great, ( especially when you are bleeding a lot.) but most of them are guessing there best guess as to what your back is going to be like. Sports Doctors know more about the type of poeple that want to get up & do it again, Family Doctors want to give you some pills & tell you don't do it any more. Both are looking out, for how they see it, to be in your best intrest.
Be carefull, restart slow, real slow. And record your progress for your own pace.
I think you can, Sounds like YOU think you can. What else matters.
Go For It... ( slowly, slowly.)
