I am really itching to finish glassing my boat but cold weather has struck and it will be March before the shop is warm enough to resume the project. Keeping the uninsulated garage heated to even 60 degrees would be tough in west central Illinois this time of year. I am thinking of moving the boat into my living room. Is it a good idea to apply epoxy inside the house? I'm more concerned about ventilation than the mess. The boat will easily fit in the living room where I have good lighting and climate control. I hate the carpet and plan to rip it up so drips wouldn't be a problem. Seriously, I would put down plastic. I am single and so I will certainly stay that way for the duration of the project if I follow through with my plan. I can endour that. I don't plan to do any sanding, just glassing. I read the safety section of the Raka page. West has a link to the Material Safety Data Sheet for each, resin and hardner. These materials don't sound any worse than the di-hydrogen oxide that is in our drinking water. Should I do it?
