In Response To: S&G: Top load dooky schmutz end pour (Obee)
: I'm considering building a small"form" in the bow to retain the
: dooky and then boring a hole in the center of the deck to inject the dooky
: and anchor the toggle rope. I'm thinking of making the rope part of the
: pouring process.
The fairly large mass of epoxy may warm and expand; and find some way to release pressure. You could avoid this by filling in increments.
I made the mistake on my first end pour dam of using duct tape which releases when the mass of epoxy got hot.
My first endpour is really one of the uglier one. I'm certain.
