I'm trying to decide between the two models, i have plans for both.
Can someone tell me what the paddling difference is between the two?
is it worth the extra length to paddle easier? Mac says that the II is a totally different boat.
I like the light weight of the WL but have learned that more length is, hopefully, easier to paddle/faster. My only point of reference is a "Swifty, 9' Perception rotomolded" that pushes thru the water. I am almost done with my guillemot 17' but it needs to warm up a bit---it was -25 last night and there is no possiblility of bring it inside. so it languishes out in the garage. 12 weeks till spring. ..although i read the earlier posts of strategies to do so.
