Having neither the equipment (or the skill:-) to make my own strips, I am contemplating getting them made at a (sort-of) local lumber yard.

I wanted to know how many strips I'll need to make a Guillimot?

Reading this board and some other internet resources, many people say that I should get several widths (from 3/4 to 3/8). What do people recommend I get made up and in what quantities?

What comes with a kit?
