Tell me more about hinged rudder pedals

I haven't seen hinged rudder pedals. Can you send me to a site with a photograph? Is this on commercial boats that I could look at in the US?

I intend installing the footbrace that comes with my Bluefin which attaches along the keel not the sides. So I might have room for a something on the side just devoted to ruddering ... that would mean something else to do with my feet. Maybe I could install a steering wheel on the deck?
