The boat is assembled and the pour is going through a 1/2" hole that that will also serve as an entrance for the rope. I used Closed cell left over from the knee brace kit for the forms> it was carved to shape and lodged in the ends.
I've made incremental pours and will incorperate the rope (Monkey fist tails)into the last one. I'll probably melt the rope at the ends to join them and provide a toothy bonding surface for the for the dooky.
I'm glad to see the forum active on X-Mas. Birds of a feather...
