When you say you "go on bare wood". Does this mean you lift or fold the glass back to pour the epoxy directly on the wood, spread it somewhat, and then lay the glass into the epoxy and work the epoxy up through the glass.
I ask this because I have not yet glassed my kayak and was thinking this would be a way of insuring the underside of the glass is wetted and reduce white spots. The problem would be folding the glass back over a wetted area as you make the second, third and so on pour.
