Thanks, the intresting and frustrating thing about building kayaks is that there are so many different methods. I am glad for it. But mixing methods does not always work the best.

case in point, I heated my shop to about 90 and then let the temp drop to 80 or so and used my raka 350. It set up much faster then I had planned because of the heat. So in some areas I did not get a transparent wet out, then I switched to smaller batches and things worked much better.

I can NOT get the hang of dragging a pool of epoxy with a squeege for the wet out drives me nuts. I just make a big mess.

Oh well the next boat will be perfect....
