That's right. Just cut 2-3mm short, and the cheap rasp wil give you a nice vertical edge in no time.

If you decide to cut to the line, remember to use the right kind of blade. At first i didn't know, that there were blades that made the rough side on the underside of the cut (i.e. not the deckside).Also i later found out Bosch makes blades that makes a smooth edge on both upper- and underside of the cut.
