i wet/squeegee/tip off one side starting at stern or bow then do the other side.
Where the new/old epoxy meet at the keel "molts" and had no ridge or seam would be easy to sand smooth if it did..ie..the epoxy i used (system 3) gave me ample time to do the whole job.
By the time you've done the hull you'll be comfortable with it.
