Epoxy: I bought the WS 205 hardener....

...is this the wrong choice? At this point I have no idea what I am doing, I wanted to fill cracks and holes before I finish fairing and glue on my stems. I went to the local marina and bought West System Epoxy, 205 hardener and some silica. They have four hardeners,I wasn't expecting that, so I read the curing temps and went with fast hardening(since it's still kind of cool here these days).
Is this the wrong choice? After getting home I did a quick search and didn't see anybody using this hardener.
