The SSTIKS '06 webpage is now up. For those that don't know what SSTIKS is, it is the South Sound Traditional Inuit Kayak Symposium. The will be workshops on building skin-on-frame kayaks, Greenland paddles, and neoprene gear. There will also be some great instruction on paddling. It looks like it is going to be another great event this year, with top-quality instruction, plenty of time for hanging out, and the best salmon BBQ around.
For those who live far away, there is still time to finish a yost folder for flying out with. Last year we had people come from Germany, Denmark, and New Zealand, along with the US and Canada. Below are Steve and Jo Ulrich's Yost folders at the campground. They made the trip from Taxas to Washington State.

Hope to see you all there.
