Im going to take your .02 and use 3 oz glass for now on. I will still double the glass on the very bottom between the chines. Yeah, Im thinking that having the lightest possible is a big benifit. Since we are boat builders we can repair if nessesary. Maybe it would be important to be durable and tuff if I didnt know how to repair though. There is a certain thrill to smashing a very valuble boat that you know you can fix.
