Yes, sometimes I take a good book with me if I know I'll be going out for a long lazy paddle. Not sure what I was reading that day but you can bet it wasn't about the world's worst boat disasters...I've had enough of that kind of literature to last me a lifetime.

Thanks! I always take the camera with me any time I paddle because I never know what to expect on the river or lakes in the area.
