Here are a couple of ideas. If you used yellow carpenter's glue, boil some hot water and keep painting the glue joints with a small paintbrush to soften the glue. At the same time heat an X-acto" knife blade and run it along the glue joint until it comes loose. I think I've done this in the past but it's been so long ago I'm not positive. Or cut out the whole section, and butt glue in a new section.
