Bryan, I just re-read your post and noticed the word "relief". :p I read to quickly and thought that you were asking about replacing the long zipper.

Yes, I think it would be easy to install a relief zipper, as long as you weren't afraid to cut into your drysuit. It would just be a matter of cutting the right sized hole, sewing it, and then sealing it up with Aquaseal.
