I posted a couple of weeks ago about an issue I had with my sprayskirt coming off the coaming lip if I pushed down hard on the top of it. Suggestions were to extend the lip (it's now about 1/2" deep). I've thought of an idea that may or may not be good and would like to hear opinions on it.

Would it be practical to take nylon string and epoxy it in place around the underside perimeter of the coaming lip? Seems like if the string was the same color as the coaming it would look OK.

Any advice is appreciated,
