: multi-purpose thin kerf. All blades pretty much produced the same quality
: of cut, but the smaller ones resulted in zero bog down when cutting ash. I
: went to the 8" because I'm using a piece of 3/4" plywood bolted
: to the top of the table, and I didn't have enough blade protrusion to cut
: 3/4" stock with the 7.25".

After spending a huge amount of money experimenting on saw blades I now only use Freud blades. For one thing they are easy to sharpen, doesn't matter much unless you run a commercial shop which I used to. I use the diablo too for ripping strips to try to minimize waste.
