Gorrilla Glue is gap filling in that it will foam up and expand to fill the gap, but it has almost zero strength in the gap. With thin laminations you would need to use care to firmly clamp the whole length or it's proclivity to foam would actually push the joint apart, leaving a large, ugly, and weak glue line in your lamination. I'm not really a fan of Gorrilla Glue. I also prefer Titebond II.
