If you make it a hybrid, then it should be fairly easy to accommodate larger feet by building up the height of your forms. However, as mentioned it may not be necessary. I'm 6'2", with size 11+ feet and have a strip-built guillemot. There's not a lot of extra room, but they fit. I leave the hiking boots at home.
