That's really an excellent point. I guess we look the other way since workability and practacality outweigh the decision. I've used tightbond waterproof glue on strips for a bottle's worth and found it was harder to scrape and sand off and clean my hands and the plane. I went back to regular carpenters glue. But your point is well made. For me mixing a tiny batch of 2 - 1 epoxy takes less than a minute. I just pour two puddles on a paper plate in the proper size and mix them up. Squeezing poly glue out of the clogged nozzle seems to take more time especially if the bottle is cold and the glue is very thick. It always seems the poly gue bottle gets clogged or hard on top once it's open and used.
