If you follow my suggestions on warming your whole shop and the techniques
I suggest to keep the resin thin your seal coat will work well.
Different areas of the wood will absorb resin at different rates. Just roll on a coat a let it be.
Don't sand it or try to add more resin to dry patches.
When tack free, lay your cloth over and wet it out.
