I'm not sure this is what your looking for but I purchased a bamboo rug from World Market for $5.00, cut it to fit, sewed the edges along the cut, stitched the two pieces together and coated with several coats of polyurathane. I can't vouch for the longevity but it's working fine for me so far. Here's a picture
