Id suspect its though enough.
But beside the soft lubricating Hexagonal form there is another form that the Boron Nitride comes in: the Cubic, and thats one of the hardest materials known. So if i had to substitute the silica and wanted to stay in theme.....
There are many dry lubricants and though additives that can be used, unfortunately seems the silica-graphite mixture its the cheaper, but that black...
