There are now 8 sections with "0" being a 9th optional section as
explained at the bottom of the offsets page. I'm not sure I still have the
older 7 section offset numbers or 7 section spacing any longer. If you have
the 7 section spacing numbers, you will be ok as is, if not, and you haven't
cut out the plywood sections yet, I suggest redoing the offsets to paper and
making an 8 section boat.

: 2)If I want to expend the cockpit a bit, do I just move the cockpit forms
: forward & back respectively, or simply move the front one only?

How much larger ? Forward only as the back of coaming is where it should be
for balance. If only an inch or two larger, maybe it will be ok. ...however,
if you move the section forward, you run the risk of changing the hull shape,
and causing a misalignment of the stringers during construction.

The 8 section boat has a 32.5" coaming. Contact me my email and I will create
new front of coaming section offsets based on your required coaming size. I
will also check to see if I still have the original numbers for a 7 section
boat.
