: May I suggest a One Ocean Kayaks Storm SLT?

: Glen in Baie-St-Paul.

I second that motion. I finished my wife's Storm SLT this August, and it fit her (5'4", 115#) to a T. The boat came in light (28 pounds so far, with seat, but it still needs its bulkheads), and it's a joy to paddle, handles peachy, and, most important, although it's a decent length at 15'6" it doesn't feel like a huge box she has to push through the water. She's a lot quicker now, and I have to bend to my "oar" a lot more than when she was pushing our son's Pygmy Tern 14 along. It's a much faster boat than that one.

Good luck in your quest, and four stars and two big thumbs way up for Vaclav's design. I think it's about the only high-performance strip yak out there for smaller folks.
