Thanks John,
I have a bottle of red (pink) chalk for marking concrete for trench cutting, it shows up better than blue on concrete.
Blue may be better on timber, some timber can be quite red.

I think a block of blue will be added to my hardware shopping list today. As well a cement, grout, sand, etc to fill in the trench I had to put in my floor. I really don't like leaking underfloor pipes.
